THE ROLE
As Senior Sourcing Manager, you will own how Climate Impact Partners sources carbon supply from project developers across the Americas. You will set the regional sourcing strategy, build and manage a high-quality pipeline of against clear targets, and lead the commercial relationships that secure near- and long-term volume. You will be accountable for the outcome, from first conversation with a developer through to contract and delivery, and you will bring senior judgment to the trade-offs between price, quality, risk, and client demand.
This is a broad senior role, not a single-region desk. You will act as deputy to the Primary Sourcing & A6 Solutions Director, covering leadership forums, approvals, and team decisions when they are away, and you will take on wider sourcing priorities as they arise, such as other regions, project types, instruments, or strategic initiatives. The Americas is your home base and first priority, and the role is deliberately set up so your scope can flex with the needs of the business.
Relationships with project developers are at the heart of the role. You will build and manage a network of developers and ecosystem partners across the Americas, earning their trust over the long term and becoming the person they turn to first. This is how we secure differentiated, high-integrity supply.
You will work closely with teams including Portfolio Management, Technical, Due Diligence, Commercial, and Legal, and you will represent Sourcing credibly in senior and cross-functional forums. You will also help position Climate Impact Partners as a trusted partner in the region, including on Article 6 and compliance market developments.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial capability, a deep understanding of carbon markets, and the ability to operate both as a dealmaker and a strategic partner in building a high-integrity, future-fit supply portfolio.
