THE ROLE
As a Data Verification Analyst with Climate Impact Partners, you will play a crucial role in making sure the data behind Project Aranya is accurate, complete and credible. Project Aranya is a large-scale afforestation and reforestation project across several districts of Madhya Pradesh, delivered with three Project Implementation Partners (PIPs) who record field activity through KoboToolbox.
You will verify the data our partners submit across 11 individual-level and 5 community-level Kobo forms, check it against land records and supporting evidence, and make sure every record meets our data quality standards before it is accepted. With a high volume of resubmissions expected, you will keep the review cycle moving and meet the 7-day turnaround we commit to our partners.
The position requires a sharp eye for detail, sound judgment and the discipline to work through large datasets at pace. You will receive a starter pack and training covering our data screening procedures, the critical data points for each Kobo form, common error scenarios and the corrective actions for partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data verification

Weekly Progress Report: Summarizing common data errors, major observations, data discrepancies and any automated checks to be deployed.
